    2020 Darren Hippner
    Bernabe Model Concert Classical Guitar.
    This is a high level concert classical guitar. It was hand-built by Darren Hippner in his Point Roberts, Washington workshop. This particular guitar was built as a Limited Series and as such has an extra level of effort put into the making of it.
    This is Darren’s recreation of Paulino Bernabe’s design. It uses the traditional Bernabe 3 fan braces for the top, which gives exceptional resonance.
    This hand crafted guitar was built using solid Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides, a Cedar neck and a solid Cedar top. The head stock cap is made using Brazilian rosewood. The rosette is styled in a similar pattern to what was used on Paulino Bernabe models.
    This guitar has been refurbished using nitrocellulose lacquer, as it was finished originally. There were no cracks in the sides or back of this guitar. There were two hairlines on the top, which have been professionally repaired to be strong and stable while retaining the guitar’s original resonance.
    Scale length on this guitar is 650 millimeters. Nut width is 54 millimeters. The ebony fretboard and frets are in excellent condition. They have just been polished. Action on the 12th fret low E string is 4.0 millimeters and the 12th fret high E string measures 3.5 millimeters. There is some room left on the saddle to lower the action.
    This guitar is also equipped with an acoustic pickup system. The original high ratio gold Gotoh tuning keys are smooth and hold tune well.
    The original label is in excellent condition. It is designated as a Bernabe model.
    The guitar will be carefully packed and shipped in a hard shell case.
